It was nearly a year ago that the collective conscience of all 2000s kids pretty much exploded when two of our all-time favorite blonde beauties (Britney Spears and Kate Hudson, obvs) hung out and took pictures, damn near shattering the Internet with their flawlessness.

OK, so maybe that’s a little extreme, but it’s true that we were totally shipping their friendship – after all, they do have plenty in common. Both Spears and Hudson rose to fame around the same time, and both have experienced the unrelenting scrutiny of being in the public eye as young women, growing up and sifting through heartache and triumph. Both have two sons in the same age range, and both share the same sunny, optimistic persona that makes us love ’em so darn much.

If you’ll recall, the two ladies revealed their friendship in a series of Instagram posts, when Spears apparently crashed Hudson’s game night (side note: thanks for the invite, ladies! We would’ve brought snacks!) and took the absolute cutest pictures… possibly ever.

That was back in October 2015, and all has been relatively silent surrounding the most adorable friendship in Hollywood since then… until now! Spears, a social media icon in her own right, found time in the middle of her busy week to post a shoutout to her #wcw, and it’s none other than…

Kate Hudson, of course!

Spears’ ninth studio album, Glory, is blessing us with its presence tomorrow, and she’s got her hotly anticipated appearance on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke tonight. On top of all of that, she’s performing at this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards, and just announced she’ll be performing at this year’s Apple Music Festival in London in September. All the while her Vegas residency is still going strong… so we’d say she’s pretty busy at the moment.

But not too busy to post a “divine” #wcw photo of her good friend Hudson. All in a day’s work for the queen of pop, right? Love these two. So. Much.

Once upon a time, way way back in 2010, several of Hollywood’s hottest leading actors were in talks to play the iconic Marvel superhero Captain America, and everyone from Ryan Phillippe to comedian Dane Cook (seriously!) were believed to have auditioned. Of course, we know now the role went to Chris Evans, and the rest is cinematic history. But one actor that didn’t get the part is speaking out on his audition, and he’s squarely placing the blame on Chris Hemsworth and his unending set of muscles and Adonis-like physique.

John Krasinski, who has since buffed up considerably himself for his role in 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, revealed on Conan that he screen-tested for the Cap role and was feelin’ pretty confident as he started to put on the superhero suit… that is, until Chris Hemsworth walked by as Thor, and all bets were off.

Krasinski said he was shirtless and “feeling pretty good” about himself as he was putting on the suit, adding that he “wasn’t 13 Hours yet, but [I] felt pretty good,” referring to his infamous buff body for the 2016 film, when “all of a sudden, Chris Hemsworth walked by as Thor, and he’s like ‘hey mate,’ And I went, ‘I’m good, this is stupid… I’m not Captain America.'”

I mean, in all honesty, can we really blame him? Hemsworth’s muscles don’t even seem possible in human nature, so it’s totally understandable that any actor would feel intimidated in his presence.

Krasinski admitted it would have been a “dream come true” because he “loves superheroes” and “imagination,” but we’d say he’s not doing too badly himself… so all’s well that ends well in Marvel land.

Alicia Silverstone has been our complete and total girl crush ever since 1995 when she managed to make a wealthy, Beverly Hills high schooler seem both accessible and enviable in her signature role as Cher Horowitz in Clueless. Of course, Silverstone herself has long traded pleated skirts and knee socks for a beautiful family life and lifestyle site called The Kind Life, which encourages “healthy, green, eco friendly living.” It may have been 21 years since she taught us how not to be a full-on Monet, but she’s still always on our radar as one of the loveliest ladies in Hollywood.

Silverstone seems to be enjoying her summer to the fullest, posting sweet snaps with her husband, Christopher Jarecki, their son, Bear Blu, and their friends, but it’s this makeup-free selfie that we’re totally obsessed with at the moment. Silverstone is currently on vacation in Palm Cove, a beach community in Far North Queensland, Australia (jealous yet?) and they’ve enjoyed paddleboarding, kayaking, and beachside picnics — all the while looking effortlessly gorgeous, as you do. Beyoncé and Jay Z are the living, breathing definition of a power couple, and anytime we spot them together, it’s impossible not to squeal a little bit. They manage to always look so over-the-top glamorous and yet effortlessly cool, that it never really comes as much of a surprise when date night involves poppin’ Champagne while overlooking the Eiffel Tower or chillin’ on a yacht. These are the Carters, and this is how they roll.

Though Bey occasionally posts a few adorable snapshots of her and her hubby on her Instagram (see: exhibits a and b), the pair is famously social media shy, with Jay pretty much not using any form of social media whatsoever. So it’s understandable that we’re totally freaking out after the couple’s good friend Usher posted a crazy good pic of the Carters to his Snapchat last night.

The pair came out to support Usher at the premiere of his new movie, Hands of Stone in New York City, on Monday night. Usher plays legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in the flick, which also stars Robert De Niro and Edgar Ramírez.

Usher captioned the snap “Familia,” proving that it’s all love between these music icons.

It seems Bey liked the photo so much, she posted it to her own Instagram account. If this isn’t cold, hard evidence that Beyoncé needs to get on Snapchat ASAP, I don’t really know what is. Come on, girl. What the world really needs is an epic face swap between you and Blue Ivy. We already know your mom is on board!

John Krasinski has always been one of our favorite guys in Hollywood — aside from being totally adorable, he seems to be an all-around nice person, and there’s simply no denying that he and his wife Emily Blunt are ridiculously gorgeous together. They’ve been the living, breathing definition of #relationshipgoals ever since they started dating way back in 2008 (!!) and their cuteness level has only skyrocketed in the time since they married in 2010 and welcomed two daughters, Hazel and Violet.

John and Emily are new to parenting two little girls, having just welcomed baby Violet on June 20th. But John says he already knows exactly what life lessons he plans to teach his daughters when they someday grow up and begin dating.

In an interview with ELLE magazine’s September 2016 issue, John details his perfect parenting advice, and it’s actually something that anyone can benefit from. He says,

“Respect and understanding are everything. I would love to pretend that I’m going to be the guy in overalls with some scary bat waiting for guys when they come to visit. But the truth is, if I do that, I’ll lose respect from my daughter.”

John adds, “I’m not going to pretend that bad things don’t happen. I just hope she has enough understanding that when they do, just give me a call.”

Of course, we can’t actually imagine John Krasinski as the terrifying father waiting with a bat for his daughters’ boyfriends to arrive, but it’s seriously so sweet that he’s planning on being upfront, honest, and respectful with his little ladies as they grow up. Seems like they’re pretty lucky to have such a great dad who will always be there for them, no matter what.

Cristiano Ronaldo Spent $1.9 Mil On A Car To Celebrate His Euro 2016 Win

Giving true definition to the meaning of “baller,” soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has bought himself a pretty pricey gift to celebrate his Euro Championship 2016 win with Portugal, and you’re probably going to be green with envy when you see it.

According to The Daily Mail, the beloved 31-year-old Real Madrid captain helped his team cinch the championship at UEFA Euro 2016, which was held this year in France. As Ronaldo gears up to start the new La Liga season, playing his first game on Sunday, he showed off a cool new set of wheels to take him to practice — a shiny new Bugatti Venyon, valued at £1.7 million, or approximately $1.9 million.

The report says, “The 16.4 Grand Sport version, which is in the top range of the super cars made by Bugatti, goes from 0-to-62 mph in just 2.6 seconds,” adding that the car boasts a top speed of 255 mph. It is the fastest legal road car available on the market, and Ronaldo is reportedly one of the only people in the world to own one.

Of course, nice cars aren’t anything new for Ronaldo, who has a Rolls Royce and a Lamborghini, among others, already in his personal collection. However, it definitely seems as if the Bugatti will be in full rotation for the rest of the summer.

Ronaldo purchased the car in mid-July immediately after his team’s victory, but is just now getting to enjoy riding in the open road.

Yikes! Both Kendall And Kris Jenner Have Stalkers On Their Hands

For the past nine years, the Kardashian/Jenner families have opened their doors to the world via their reality shows and endless social media posts, letting fans know their whereabouts at any given time, all while creating a vast empire that has made them one of the most famous families in the entire world.

But the one startling downside to that level of accessibility happens when fans take things too far — feeling like the doors to Kardashian HQ are, quite literally, open to them.

Now, it seems both momager Kris Jenner and her supermodel daughter, Kendall Jenner are both the target of unwitting attention from two separate stalkers… yikes.

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that a man was arrested and charged after he showed up at the gate of Kendall’s home in the Hollywood Hills. She arrived home, found him there, and called the cops, where he was promptly arrested.

Now the 20-year-old reportedly feels so terrified, she’s enlisting round-the-clock security at her pad, which she only purchased in June.

TMZ reports “security will patrol her yard and sit outside the home so the uninvited hold their distance,” adding, “she already had a security system and bodyguards, but apparently she needs extra muscle.”

The site also said the whole family, especially mom Kris, “didn’t think the location of the house and the security surrounding it was up to snuff.”

Now, to add fuel to the fire, Kris is dealing with a stalker of her own. TMZ reports the Kardashian matriarch has been “terrorized by a woman who hacked her iCloud and social media accounts, impersonated her and flooded her with explicit messages.”

According to federal sources, “Prosecutors slapped the woman with a 15-count indictment for harassing Kris, several of her family members and 2 assistants in 2014. According to docs, the suspect sent hundreds of emails and texts, many of which were sexual and disturbing.” She also reportedly sent harassing texts to Kris’ ex, Caitlyn Jenner, and claimed she had a sex tape of Kris that she threatened to make the rounds.

The story hopefully has a happy ending, with TMZ reporting, “the FBI nabbed the woman Thursday morning in Oakland. The indictment includes multiple counts of cyberstalking and hacking.”

Stay safe out there, Jenner family. Where’s Shengo, Kim’s hot Australian bodyguard, when you need him?

Ryan Lochte Was Never Robbed And Now There’s Footage To Prove It

If you haven’t been following the 32-year-old, let’s recap. Earlier this week, the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) responded to reports that Lochte and three of his teammates were robbed after a party in Rio on Sunday morning, on their way back to the Olympic Village.

Lochte told TODAY that someone posing as a police officer put a gun to his head, but he refused to comply. According to his account of the incident, Lochte said:

“They pulled out their guns, they told the other swimmers to get down on the ground — they got down on the ground. I refused, I was like we didn’t do anything wrong, so — I’m not getting down on the ground.” He added, “And then, the guy pulled out his gun, he cocked it, put it to my forehead and he said, ‘Get down.’ I put my hands up, I was like ‘whatever.’ He took our money, he took my wallet — he left my cell phone, he left my credentials.”

I know. Shocking. He knows what “credentials” means.

However, an anonymous police official in Rio said there was “scant evidence” behind the claims, according to the Associated Press and also said the men “were unable to provide key details in police interviews,” adding that police “cannot find their taxi driver or witnesses.”

Well, it turns out the King of Terrible Interviews (seriously, it’s like watching someone who is learning how to talk while being asked questions) is also the King of Terrible Lies.

Reports are coming from Brazil that suggest that the swimmers were involved in a gas station altercation, and CNN reports “the athletes threw stones at the business and tore one of its signs before urinating in the street.”

The owner of the gas station seems to confirm this and now, footage from the gas station shows the swimmers with the items they claimed were taken from them in the robbery.

Amid the controversy, Lochte has returned back to home base in the United States, while two of the athletes involved in the scuffle, Jack Cogner and Gunnar Bentz, attempted to leave the country on Wednesday and were pulled off the plane. They told Brazilian police that Lochte made up the alleged robbery. The fourth athlete, James Feigen, is still in Brazil.

For his part, Lochte hasn’t commented on the new developments, but posted a now-deleted Instagram post sending birthday wishes to a fellow swimmer.

The lesson here is simple: don’t lie about getting robbed if you’re too dumb to cover your tracks.

She’s sold more than 200 million albums, and Wikipedia says she’s the youngest and fastest solo artist to earn fourteen number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, which is nothing to sneeze at given that the height of her fame happened when music sales were on a steady decline.

Rihanna is ridiculously powerful, and considered a force to be reckoned with, not just in the music world, but in fashion too.

On top of all that, she’s also considered to be one of the hottest women in the world, and with good reason. Rih can pull off neon-blue lipstick and still look incredibly fierce. Her fashion sense paired with a body that will inspire anyone to hit the gym make the girl an undeniable work of art.

A Colombian artist named Juan Sebastián Peláez certainly agrees and used Rih as inspiration for a massive work of art currently on display in Germany at the Berlin Biennale.

Peláez created a giant Rihanna statue featuring the singer’s body in a teeny bikini, proving that the sky’s the limit on Rih’s sex appeal.

The subject of the stunning statue herself is currently traveling the world on her Anti World Tour, and she got a chance to pose in front of her likeness.

Her caption? “Went to visit my boobs the biggest they’ll ever be…”

Rih’s got jokes.

Kylie Jenner’s New Favorite Hobby May Mean The Death Of Snapchat

In case you’re not up-to-the-minute on the ever-changing world of social media, the latest player in the game comes care of Instagram, the photo and video-sharing app which recently boasted upwards of 500 million users worldwide.

In the past few weeks, Instagram has begun to roll out its latest feature to users, called Instagram Stories, which they say “lets you share all the moments of your day, not just the ones you want to keep on your profile. As you share multiple photos and videos, they appear together in a slideshow format: your story.”

Does this sound familiar? If so, it’s probably because of that other popular photo- and video-sharing app called Snapchat, which is widely considered the pioneer of the 24-hour video/photo story format.

Of course, Instagram Stories has only been around since its official launch on August 2, but that doesn’t mean that social media savvy celebrities aren’t jumping on the bandwagon yet.

In today’s world, it’s pretty much impossible for celebrities and public figures not to be on social media somehow, and Instagram Stories should be the perfect way for celebrities to connect with their fans already following them on Instagram.

One of Snapchat’s biggest flaws is the difficulty involved in tracking down someone’s account. Unless you know their contact info or username directly, it’s often times not intuitive to use the search feature on their app (lookin’ at you, Kylie Jenner aka kylizzlemynizzl.)

Instagram Stories seems to evade this by directly appearing on top of your feed, showing you the Story of anyone you’re already following, famous or not.

So how are celebrities using Instagram Stories in the feature’s early weeks? Are they showing different behind-the-scenes glimpses than they do on Snapchat? We’ll look into a few early adopters that use both to see if there are any stark differences so far.
